Arriving August 2007 , 2 new 7 mts Panga style boats will offer a faster and more comfortable fishing platform for our Gambia bouand anglers . These purpose built craft
are roomy stable and offer full walk round for fighting fish , liveweels , integral ice boxes, 75hp Yamaha tilt and trim engines , bimini style canopies , GPS , VHF and sounders.
With the opening of the watersports and sportfishing centre this should assure future clients of a very upgraded fishing day.

New flights to Cape Verde Islands

Long known as a fantastic Marlin and Sailfish destination, it has always been difficult and expensive to get to, but not anymore. As of Feb 2007 we will be running direct flights from UK and offering very competitive accomodation and fishing packages. The islands have remain relativley untouched by tourism and as such have an innocent charm, which appeals to all, old style colonial archtecture and stunning beaches make this a memorable holiday for all the family. We are also setting up new inshore fishing charters, to enable the UK fisherman to enjoy a mixed and economical week in this untouched fishermans paradise.

John Joyce hooks and loses potential senegal record Blue Marlin

On a recent trip with us to St Louis in Senegal John Joyce hooked and fought a Blue Marlin estimated at between 400 - 450kgs, this fish would almost certainly been a record for that area of Senegal which has just been opened up for Bluewater fishing with the arrival of 4 new 10mt sportfishers. But not only that John also hooked 2 other massive Marlin one of 300kg and another in the 250kg mark. Even the local skippers were surprised at the size and consistancy of the Marlin that have been running compartively close inshore, the big fish was hooked over a deep trench only 6 miles off.

I myself landed a Sailfish of 52.9kgs last August from the same venue, which was just 1.5kgs under the World all tackle record for an Atlantic sailfish, unfortunately the fish tail wrapped itself after a long fight and despite several attempt to release it, it died. Perhaps we are seeing the birth of another world class marlin venue and with the quality of the Nile perch fishing available in the river - what a venue!!
